Terms and Conditions

Please read this Agreement carefully as it governs your use of the TilesDirect.ie website. By continuing to use our site you are agreeing to the terms set out below and are confirming that you are above the age of 18. No Person Under the Age of 18 may Make a purchase on this website.


The Site is owned and operated by Total Tiles Ltd. (Company No: 334435, VAT Reg. No. IE 6354435P), (The Company) whose registered office is at Parkwest Drive, Parkwest Industrial Estate Dublin 12


All material including any copyrighted property  displayed on the Site (“Content”) belongs to The Company or its suppliers. The Company gives you the right, for your own personal and non-commercial purposes only to (1) retrieve and display the Content on your PC screen; (2) print individual pages on paper; (3) store individual pages in electronic form on CD/disk. You may not store any Content on any server or other storage device connected to an external network, or make any other use of the Content.

You may not, without prior written permission given by The Company within the previous six months, (1) redistribute any of the Content or supply it to other people; (2) remove the copyright or trade mark notices from any copies of Content made under this Agreement; (3) create a database in any form (including electronic or structured manual form) by downloading, copying and storing all or any of the Content; (4) except as expressly set in this Agreement, modify, reproduce or in any way use any of the Content.


The prices for goods displayed for sale on the Site are as set out on the Site and are inclusive of VAT  at rates valid as of time of purchase. Additional charges are made for delivery which are clearly displayed.

By completing and submitting the electronic order form on the site you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract.

By making that offer to purchase goods, you are also authorising The Company to pre validate the Debit or Credit card presented for payment for the full value of the goods and related service charges contained in your basket. Your card will not be charged until the offer to purchase has been accepted by The Company and the goods have been dispatched by us or 3rd parties acting on under our instruction.

We will confirm acceptance of your order by email, stating that the goods ordered have been dispatched. This confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide on your order details. Whether or not you receive an email, our acceptance of your order will create a legally binding contract between us. We reserve the right not to supply you at our discretion.


Shading is an inherent feature of ceramic and porcelain tiles and you must ensure that you order a sufficient quantity to complete your requirements as the company cannot guarantee against shade variation between different orders.

Crazing is a feature in some ceramic tiles. The company give no warranty against crazing.


5. Delivery

The Company Delivers to the 32 Counties of ireland. Delivery Costs are clearly outlined on  and advised as a separate charge on your Invoice. Deliveries are typically made within 48 hours but to allow for exceptions we commit to fulfilling your order within 5 working days of our acceptance of your order. Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, orders may take longer than 5 working days to fulfill. If this is the case, we will notify you of the delay by telephone.

Whether or not you receive an email, our acceptance of your order will create a legally binding contract between us. We reserve the right not to supply you at our discretion.


The Company is not liable for late or incorrect delivery. We recommend that you do not  book your tradesperson until the goods have been received and inspected.

All goods must be signed for as proof of receipt. If you the Customer cannot be present yourself you should ensure an alternative adult is available to sign on your behalf.

If we are unable to gain access to the agreed delivery address we will return the goods to our warehouse or that of our agents and make contact with you to re-arrange for an alternative date and time of delivery. In these circumstances we will charge you an additional delivery fee.


Orders are accepted and promises for delivery given conditionally upon The Company being able to secure the necessary material, and without responsibility for delays arising through risks and uncertainties of manufacture, strike, accidents, or other causes beyond our control.


If we are not able to deliver the whole of the order at one time for any reason including operational reasons or shortage of stock we may deliver the order in instalments. We will not charge you extra delivery charges in these circumstances. If however you request us to deliver the order in instalments we may charge you extra delivery charges. Each instalment shall be treated as a separate contract and late delivery of one instalment will not entitle you to cancel any other instalment.




You can cancel your order at any stage up to the point of dispatch at no charge. Simply contact us by phone  email [email protected] To help us assist you as quickly as possible please quote your order reference number.


You are entitled to a cooling-off period of 7 working days, which begins on the day after you receive delivery of your order. During the cooling-off period, you may cancel your order for any reason. Upon cancellation, we will make the necessary arrangements to facilitate the return of the order and will reimburse you within 30 days. While we are more than happy to help if you wish to return goods that are not faulty or damaged you will be responsible for any costs incurred in returning the goods. 

These costs may be more than the advertised delivery costs on our website.

Goods should be returned in the same packaging as they were supplied in and must be received by the company in condition for sale in order to qualify for a refund. We suggest that the goods are returned with the same transport company who delivered. A digital image should be taken of the order being returned as proof of its condition,

The company must be notified by e-mail  within 48 hours of delivery of any claims by the buyer of any shortage or damage to goods in transit. The company will require that evidence of any such damage be provide by way of digital image attached to this email. emails should be sent to [email protected]

Risk in respect of the goods passes to the buyer from the moment of delivery.In the unfortunate case of goods being faulty or damaged in transit,  Just contact us by  email (details above) and we will advise you of the transport companies details for the returning of the damaged or faulty goods


The Company will use its reasonable skill and care in making sure that the website is available to you on a continual basis. However, because of the number of sources from which The Company obtains the Content and because of the nature of the Internet, The Company does not give you any other warranties. In particular, you should not take the accuracy or availability of the information for granted and the company makes no warranty that the website is free from infection by viruses or anything else that has contaminating or destructive properties.


The Company is committed to protecting the privacy of those using our Site. The information that you provide about yourself to Company will only be used by The Company in accordance with its Privacy Policy as set out here.


In endeavouring to improve the Site and services offered, the Company reserve the right at all times to make changes to the Content, including these Terms & Conditions. Prices and products are subject to change without notification. You will be subject to the policies and Terms & Conditions in place at the time of your visit to the Site.


The Site contains links to other websites and resources. the company will make clear where such links are being made. Independent third parties provide these sites. The Company is not responsible and shall not be liable for the availability or content of these outside resources. Please be aware that The Company is not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements / terms & conditions of every website.
